ABOUT CPI

Your mission is our mission. Marines are trained to improvise, adapt and overcome any obstacle in whatever situation they are needed.

Construction Planners Inc. (CPI) was founded in 1977 by veteran Jack Gamache, AIA as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). The firm was fashioned in the image of the “Master Architect/Builder”, employing an age-old concept stressing cooperation rather than competition with a single source of responsibility for the overall design and construction of a project.

Whether you’re looking for us to serve as your own personal project manager, construction manager, or designer/builder, we know that each project has it’s own unique set of challenges and requirements. We specialize in delivering projects on time and within budget, and have spent the past four decades establishing a reputation for quality and cost-effectiveness that can only come from a truly integrated team approach.

What differentiates CPI is that we are a smaller and more cost-efficient architect-led firm with over 40 years of construction experience. As owner and principal, former Marine Jack Gamache provides principal-level attention to detail on every single project. We work with small, local, minority-owned businesses whenever possible, but always select only the best sub-consultants with a superior level of expertise.

“Your firm brought a high level of detail, expertise and quality to a project that was completed on time and within budget. The staff, management, and most importantly the donors have all commented on the fit and finish of the Donor Center. The building is warm, inviting to all…very functional and increases the productivity of staff. The flow of donors and staff works well with the building and enables us to process donors in an efficient manor.”
